Know About Terrain and Daylight

Plan the route. This can be a fun and creative part of the trip, or it can be stressful and frustrating if you don’t know what to look for. You can start by checking out maps online. Roads will show up as straight lines on paper, but in reality, they follow many different types of terrain and elevation. Look at the map before you start driving so that you’re ready to explore anything unexpected or interesting along the way.
